Take That in Berlin: Thousands of Fans Celebrate to Past Mega Hits
On Saturday evening (June 29th), Take That performed in Berlin. Some of the thousands of fans endured numerous hardships for their beloved band. Long train journeys, crowded subways, and then almost 30 degrees Celsius at 6 PM in Berlin.
Even the sweltering heat on that day couldn’t stop the fans from waiting an hour for their idols. Security personnel had to distribute masses of water to the waiting crowd before the show even started. After nearly 45 minutes of the opening act, the main event kicked off punctually at 8 PM.
Fans Find Concert Too Expensive for What Was Offered
While the crowd in front was energetic, in the middle and towards the back of the open-air venue, numerous Take That fans appeared bored and even annoyed. Many chose to eat and drink rather than attentively watch the concert. After an hour of the show, numerous people were already leaving the venue.
In an interview with BERLIN LIVE, two sisters from Pinneberg near Hamburg shared their disappointment with the event. “We were right at the front but had to leave because there was just no atmosphere,” said Johanna and Tabea. They were completely disappointed and frustrated: “Over 90 euros for this, it’s just unacceptable.”
